Amergis is seeking a School Based Occupational Therapist to perform evaluations, develop therapy services, and support students from Elementary to High School in San Jose, CA. The position involves 35 hours of work per week, with a focus on providing effective therapy in compliance with developed care plans.

School Based Occupational Therapist job at Amergis. San Jose, CA. Salary: $3038 / Week

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for performing student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student.

8am-3pm: 35 hours a week with paid lunch

Supports Elementary, Middle, and High School

Caseload: 45

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice
• One (1) year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
