Job summary

Ascend Rehab Services Inc. is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students in Antioch and surrounding areas. You will assess, plan, and deliver pediatric occupational therapy services in the school setting.

This role offers a competitive salary, a $1,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package. You will collaborate with teachers, SLPs, psychologists, and families to develop and implement IEP goals and ensure student progress.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active California OT license.
• Experience working with pediatric/school-based populations preferred.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pediatric OT assessments to evaluate students' motor, sensory, and daily living skills.
• Provide individual and group therapy addressing sensory-motor needs.
• Develop and implement IEP goals focused on fine motor, self-regulation, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success.
• Recommend and implement assistive technology and accommodations.
• Maintain documentation, progress reports, and compliance with state guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families.

We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our school-based team in the Antioch and surrounding areas, working with students across K-12 settings.

What You'll Do:

• Provide individual and group therapy to address sensory-motor needs and support student development
• Develop and implement IEP goals focused on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, and functional independence
• Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, psychologists, and other school staff to support student success
• Recommend and implement assistive technology and accommodations
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate effectively with families and staff members
