MVHC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our School-Based Health Team in Ohio. This 100% outpatient role involves collaborating with a dedicated team of physicians, mid-level providers, social workers, RNs and LPNs to deliver high-quality care to students and the community.

You will work with an established patient panel, utilize Epic EMR, and operate in a supportive environment with no on-call responsibilities.

Formación

• MSN or MS in PA Studies required.
• NP Certification or Ohio PA License required.
• 1–2 years clinical experience preferred.
• CPR Certification required.
• DOT certification preferred; supervisory experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Supports change and participates in activities to promote organizational development.
• Reviews MVHC policies and procedures related to regulatory standards (HFAP, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).
• Demonstrates actions to contribute to patient safety (incident reporting, hazards, infection control).
• Completes documentation within the specified timeframe.
• Follows proper technique in assisting and performing procedures.
• Recognizes and reports signs of abuse or domestic violence.
• Displays critical thinking to set priorities for patient care; conducts daily rounds with physicians.
• Submits incident reports and notes by deadlines.
• Adheres to MVHC policies and Compliance Program.
