Job summary

MVHC in Malta, OH is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Adult Health/Urgent Care Team. This 100% outpatient role works with a well-established team, with access to a community hospital and the Epic EMR.

No on-call requirements and a full-time schedule offer a stable, patient-centered environment. The candidate will have MS in Nursing or PA Studies, NP/PA licensure, CPR and optional DOT certification, with 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing or Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
• NP Certification or Ohio Physician Assistant License.
• CPR Certification.
• DOT Certification is preferred.
• One to two years of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Supports change and participates in activities to promote organizational development.
• Reviews MVHC policies and procedures related to HFAP, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.
• Demonstrates actions and behaviors that contribute to patient safety.
• Completes documentation within the specified timeframe.
• Assists and performs procedures with proper technique.
• Coordinates daily rounds with physicians.
• Adheres to MVHC policies and Compliance Program.
