Job summary

Magellan Federal is seeking a Military and Family Life Counselor - School to provide CYB counseling services at DoDEA and local schools serving military families at Fort Benning. You will work in person at assigned schools and youth programs, delivering counseling, trainings, and consultations.

The role requires a Master's in Behavioral Health or Social Work, an independent licensed credential (LCSW/LMFT/LPC), and local residency or relocation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health or Social Work.
• Current unrestricted independent license to practice counseling (LCSW/LMFT/LPC).
• Less than 2 years post-licensure clinical experience.
• Ability to engage military families and work in a school setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and teleconferencing tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical, short-term counseling to eligible children and youth of service members.
• Deliver training and health and wellness presentations to schools and camps.
• Enter activity data daily via mobile or web app while maintaining confidentiality.
• Develop relationships with DoDEA, community schools, and DoD points of contact.
• Coordinate with installation personnel and respond to urgent requests as needed.
