Job summary

Pittsburgh, PA based Pace School seeks a Mental Health Therapist to provide individual, family and group therapy for children/adolescents within a special education program. The role leads treatment planning, conducts initial and ongoing assessments, and collaborates with psychiatrists and classroom teams to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements include a Master's degree in Social Work or related field, licensure, 3–5 years of clinical experience, and preferred skills in Applied Behavior

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Three to five years of mental health counseling experience.
• Licensed professional with Managed Care experience preferred.
• Competency in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.
• Ability to travel 1-2 days per week with reliable transportation.
• Successful background checks and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead treatment planning and clinical care for caseload.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy.
• Conduct psychosocial/psychiatric assessments and updates.
• Lead and co-lead treatment groups and parent education.
• Monitor progress with structured assessments and progress notes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and classroom teams during emergencies.
