Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a School-Based Mental Health Counselor in South Carolina to provide individual and small-group counseling to K–12 students during the school day. You will complete intakes, risk assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with school staff and families.

The role requires an active SC license (LMSW/LISW-CP/LPC/LPC-A/LMFT/LP) and experience with children and adolescents in school or community settings.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina license in LMSW, LISW-CP, LPC, LPC-A, LMFT or LP.
• Experience with children and adolescents in school or community settings.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to manage services across multiple school sites.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to pass all required school-based background checks
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
