Services are designed to meet the needs of high-risk student populations who struggle to access care in the community.
Provides integrated services to students whose mental health symptoms create non-academic barriers to learning.
Provides evidence-based trauma treatment.
Reduces the stigma related to mental health services.
Provides IEP mandated services in conjunction with school-based IEP teams, teachers, and administrators.
Provides consultation, linkage, and referral to other providers, both public and private.
Helps educators recognize and refer students in distress.
Accredited by CARF at the highest level to provide mental health services as an embedded program within schools.
Follows Special Education requirements related to IEPs.
Licensed as Social Workers or Professional Counselors through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.
Maintain FBI and BCI background checks per ODEW and OHMAS regulations.
Receive regular training on trauma, education, mental health policy, laws, and ethics.
Providing school-based mental health therapy services to children and families. Our agency is known for high-quality service, low staff turnover, and a team approach to staff consultation and support.
Currently, we have School-based Mental Health Therapy positions available. As a therapist, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents in the school environment.
Qualifications include appropriate Ohio licensure (LISW, PCC preferred). School Social Work experience and ODEW License are a plus. Experience with various ages, Medicaid & ODMH regulations, electronic health records, and computer skills are required.
Positions are full-time and part-time (up to 4 days/week). Salary ranges from $44,643 to $62,639, based on experience and credentials.
