Overview

Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a School Based Mental Health Therapist to be part of our Behavioral Health Team in Brevard, NC.

A newly hired Therapist/Behavioral Health Service Provider can receive a sign on bonus of up to $5,000.00, depending on the service agreement chosen. Service contracts are for 1, 2, or 3 years.

What You'll Do:

The School-Based Mental Health Therapist provides outpatient mental health treatment/services to youth in the school setting. Responsibilities include delivering individual, family, and group therapy, interacting with provider agencies and referral sources, participating in team meetings, and providing education and support to the community.

What We're Looking For:
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible) in North Carolina
  • 2 years of clinical work experience preferred
  • LCAS or LCAS-A licensure a plus
  • Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
  • Experience in individual and group therapy
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Bilingual abilities a plus
