Job summary

Gardner Health Services in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Mental Health Specialist to join the School Linked Services program within the Family and Children Division. You will provide psychosocial assessments and services to children aged 6–21 and their families, in a 40-hour week, full-time role based at the corporate offices.

Under supervision, you will work on a multidisciplinary team delivering individual and group counseling, case management, family support, home-based and crisis services

Qualifications

• MHS - Bachelors Degree plus three years of relevant experience.
• Bilingual/Bicultural preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and psychosocial services to children aged 6–21 and their families.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver care.
• Carry out duties per the attached job flyer.
• Deliver individual and group counseling, case management, family support, home-based support and crisis intervention.
