Job summary

Washburn Center in Minnesota seeks a School-Based Supervisor to lead and supervise school-based mental health therapists, oversee clinical assessment, and coordinate services with school partners. The position requires 2+ years of team leadership, a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field, and MN licensure as a Mental Health Professional; experience with CBITS, TF-CBT, MAP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Work or Clinical Counseling.
• 3-5 years of experience providing mental health services to children and families.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience managing a team and overseeing staff performance.
• Clinical supervision experience is required.
• Valid MN licensure as a Mental Health Professional and Board Approved supervisor status (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, LP).
• Strong leadership, supervision, and communication skills.
• Passion for providing mental health services within the school setting and collaborating with school partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative supervision, program management, and leadership for school-based mental health therapists.
• Oversee clinical assessment and treatment services, as well as ancillary services such as consultation and professional development for school staff.
• Coordinate meetings with school/district partners to ensure successful collaboration and programming.
• Ensure MN HIPAA data privacy compliance and state contract requirements.
• Manage staff development, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
