Job summary

River Edge Behavioral Health in Macon, GA seeks experienced Mental Health Therapists to provide behavioral health services through the Georgia APEX Program in local schools. You will work with youth ages 5+ across elementary, middle, and high schools in Macon/Bibb County, delivering evidence-based individual and family therapy and coordinating with school staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
• Eligibility for associate licensure (LAPC/LPC, LMSW/LCSW, or LAMFT/LMFT) required; licensure pursuit to begin on hire.
• Associate or full clinical licensure preferred (LCSW/LMSW, LPC/APC, LMFT/LAMFT).

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy for youth with mental health or substance use disorders in schools, clinics, or via telehealth.
• Conduct clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and obtain necessary service authorizations.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.

Education
