Job summary

River Edge Behavioral Health Center in Macon, GA is seeking experienced Mental Health Therapists to deliver behavioral health services in local schools through the Georgia APEX Program, serving children aged 5 and up across Putnam and Baldwin counties.

The role includes individual and family therapy in schools, clinics, or via telehealth; clinical assessments, treatment planning, and documenting in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage & family therapy, or rehabilitation counseling.
• Eligibility for associate licensure (LAPC/LPC, LMSW/LCSW, or LAMFT/LMFT) is required; licensure pursuit must begin upon hire.
• Associate or full clinical licensure preferred (LCSW/LMSW, LPC/APC, LMFT/LAMFT).

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and family therapy for youth with mental health and/or substance use disorders in school settings, clinics, or via telehealth.
• Conduct clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and obtain necessary service authorizations.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.
