Job summary

North Homes Children & Family Services is seeking a School-Based Mental Health Clinician to provide therapy within the Bemidji School District. The role supports students, families, and educators, using trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices in a collaborative setting.

Licensed clinicians or Clinical Trainees working toward independent licensure will deliver individual, group, and family services, develop treatment plans, and coordinate with school staff and community providers for

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a qualifying mental health field.
• Current Minnesota licensure as LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP in good standing for licensed clinicians.
• Clinical Trainee must be pursuing independent licensure and complete required supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and adolescents.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Complete comprehensive mental health evaluations and referrals as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and team meetings.
• Maintain timely clinical documentation per agency, state, and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers, school administration, families, and community providers.
• Provide crisis assessment and intervention as required.
• Engage in supervision, CEU opportunities, and ongoing professional development.
