Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year MA experience including phlebotomy.
• Minimum 2 years patient services or administrative experience in healthcare.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, vital signs, vaccines, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing.
• Support providers during examinations and patient education.
• Maintain CLIA-waived testing logs and infection control records.
• Manage follow-up through portals, reminders, and triage.
• Coordinate vaccination records with school nurses.
• Oversee front desk operations and patient flow.
• Assist with referrals, orders, records, and billing support.
