Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Texas LVN license and graduation from an accredited LVN program.
• AED/CPR certification and in-district screening certifications preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in community health, pediatric nursing, or school-age care.
• Ability to read and interpret health-related documents and communicate with staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Complies with Board of Nursing standards and HIPAA/FERPA guidelines.
• Administers medications as ordered and monitors adverse reactions.
• Maintains accurate health records for each student.
• Provides first aid and basic health services in the school setting.
• Coordinates with Campus Director and health services team.
