Maxim Healthcare in Arlington, VA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for a pediatric patient with a G-tube in a school setting. Shifts are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:45am–4:00pm, with additional opportunities for other students in the area Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Licensed as LPN/LVN in the practicing state
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray
• Current BLS certification
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Provide skilled nursing care on each assignment per prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses accurately
