Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Experience working with pediatrics/adolescents preferred.
• Experience performing data-entry with proficiency.
• Current PA License to practice as LPN, BLS Certification, PA Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Certified School Nurse in providing student health care and safety.
• Be the first medical professional to assess a student’s medical condition during accidents or illnesses on school premises.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor reactions, vital signs, and outcomes.
• Observe, document, and report symptoms and responses to treatments; maintain accurate health records.
