Job summary
Questar III BOCES is seeking a Full-Time probationary LPN to serve as a floater across school-based sites in Rensselaer, Columbia, and Greene Counties. The role provides nursing coverage in health offices or 1:1 settings, ensuring student health needs are met throughout the district.
The ideal candidate is a NY LPN with CPR/First Aid; experience with special needs children and developmental disabilities is preferred.
Qualifications
- Current, valid New York State LPN license.
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification would be preferred.
- Experience with special needs children and developmental disabilities preferred.
Responsibilities
- Direct Nursing Care: Provide routine and specialized nursing care, including G-tube feedings, tracheostomy care, catheterization, and basic wound care as outlined in student healthcare plans.
