Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work one-on-one with a student in the school setting near Smithfield, NC. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the role.

The nurse will provide care for students with medical needs including Trach, vent, G-tube feedings and seizure monitoring, and may ride the bus to and from school with the patient. Previous LVN/LPN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year LVN/LPN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for students with medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube feeds, seizure monitoring, etc.).
• May ride the bus to and from school with patient.
