Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Omaha, NE is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide 1:1 nursing care for students in the school setting during the 2026-2027 year. This PRN position requires an active LPN/LVN license in the state, a current Health Certificate, PPD or Chest X-Ray, and a valid BLS card, with a preference for at least one year of LVN/LPN experience.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for student(s) with medical needs (Trach, vent, G-tube feedings, seizure monitoring with rescue medications, personal care, diabetic care, etc.).
• May need to ride the bus to and from school with patient.
