Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a licensed social worker or clinical counselor to join the Psychiatry department as a full-time team member. You will provide psychosocial interventions, resource navigation, and care coordination, including crisis assessment and group programs as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling or Social Work.
• 2+ years of work experience in a related field.
• LPCC or LISW license in Ohio.
• May require clinical license or certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs psychosocial assessments taking into consideration family, social, and medical history.
• Collaboration with the health care team in the development of a treatment plan and assisting in the identification of appropriate resources to support the interventions.
• Provide psychosocial interventions as identified in the patient’s comprehensive plan of care and education to patient/family/caregiver.
• Act as a liaison between patient/family/caregiver and medical team, promoting coordinated care and reducing fragmentation.
