Job summary

GW Harris Youth Shelter seeks a Clinical Licensed Counselor to provide school-based counseling services in Polk/Pasco, Florida. The role includes individual, family, and group therapy, with some virtual sessions as needed.

The incumbent will develop treatment plans, coordinate with families and school staff, and ensure timely documentation while maintaining HIPAA compliance and program guidelines.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related Human Service field required.
• Preferred 2+ years post bachelor’s experience in Human Services with high-risk youth.
• Licensure options include LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, psychologist in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling based on client need.
• Complete documentation within 24 hours of sessions.
• Coordinate with families and referral sources as needed.
• Participate in supervision and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant records and timely treatment plan reviews.
