Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support students in a school-based setting, with a focus on learning support and autism support. This full-time role follows roughly 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, during the school day and includes direct student assistance and collaboration with teachers and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (an associate’s degree preferred) and experience working with children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's degree preferred.
• Experience working with children in educational or support settings.
• Knowledge of special education practices preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students with individualized learning and behavioral needs.
• Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and student support strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote student success.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation as needed.
• Support classroom instruction and encourage student participation and engagement.
• Assist with behavior management and the implementation of behavior support plans.
• Utilize educational technology and classroom resources to enhance learning.
• Communicate professionally with staff, families, and other stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
