Job summary

Tri-Area Community Health in Virginia is seeking a full-time licensed clinician for a new school-based clinic with Floyd County Public Schools. The role includes in-person counseling for students and staff and technology-based services for other Tri-Area sites and partners.

The BHP office is based out of Floyd Elementary School with year-round, Monday–Friday scheduling. The position supports integrated behavioral healthcare and outreach, collaborating with medical and pharmacy staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in Virginia as LCSW, LPC, or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
• Experience providing integrated behavioral healthcare preferred.
• Preference for experience in Federally Qualified Health Center and/or Free Clinic.
• Ability to collaborate with medical and pharmacy staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person counseling with Floyd County Schools students and staff.
• Provide technology-based services to other Tri-Area sites and community partners.
• Deliver integrated behavioral healthcare through warm hand-offs and counseling.
• Be involved in outreach and community engagement.
• Work year-round, Monday–Friday, with no weekends.
