Job summary

Blue Ridge Health is seeking a Site Coordinator for our School Based Health Clinical Team in Hendersonville, NC. The role focuses on coordinating patient care, managing schedules, and supervising support staff to ensure efficient patient flow across BRH clinic locations.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, plus a preference for a Bachelor's in Business or Health Care Administration. LPN/RN licensure in NC is preferred; Medical Assistant or CNA credentials with experience are also

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's in Business or Health Care Administration (preferred).
• LPN or RN licensed to practice in North Carolina.
• MA: Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant.
• CNA certification with at least one year clinical experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Two years’ experience in outpatient medical practice setting.
• Bilingual preferred, but not required.
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems; EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care schedules and ensure efficient patient flow at BRH clinic locations.
• Supervise support staff and assist with routine clinic tasks and setup.
• Document patient information in EMR, reconcile medications and update health histories.
• Assist with procedures, patient education, and completion of paperwork.
• Handle referrals, pharmacy refill requests, and related documentation.
• Maintain inventory for medical and storage equipment and ensure compliance with disposal of biohazard material.
• Follow care team communication and pre-visit planning processes.
• Work assigned schedule including night or weekend hours per site hours.
