Job summary

ESS is seeking a Substitute Food Service Worker in Atglen, PA, for the Octorara Area School District. You will help prepare and serve meals to students in a clean, safe environment, under the head cook and school administrators.

Includes maintaining sanitation and records, with required background checks and clearances. Typical responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, stocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• PA Department of Education Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification – Act 24.
• PA State Police Criminal History Clearance – Act 34.
• Federal Criminal History Clearance – Act 114.
• Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training – Act 126.
• Child Abuse Clearance – Act 151.
• Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release – Act 168.
• Tuberculosis Test.
• Physical may be required in some areas.
