Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking an Educational Diagnostician for a school-based role in Dulce, NM for the 26/27 school year. This full-time position provides psychoeducational evaluation services to a local district and supports students' academic, social, and emotional growth.

You'll administer assessments, write reports, participate in ARD/IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers and families to develop individualized plans while adhering to IDEA and state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Current license as an Educational Based Diagnostician in New Mexico.
• Graduate from an EBD program.
• Prior experience in a school-based special education setting preferred.
• NM PED

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret standardized assessments evaluating cognitive ability, academic achievement, and social-emotional development.
• Write detailed evaluation reports and attend ARD/IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support individualized education plans.
• Ensure all evaluations comply with state and federal special education law (IDEA) and guidelines.
