Qualifications

• Must have MA/MS in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• 1 year of counseling experience, including in a school setting.
• Experience delivering classroom presentations.
• Ability to work varied hours to meet student needs.
• Experience in record keeping, data collection and report writing.
• Computer experience in current software programs.
• Must pass a thorough background check including Criminal History and fingerprint check.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver counseling, therapeutic and educational services for SUIMA students and families.
• Work with children aged infancy to 13 in family, school, peer and community systems using a family-systems orientation.
• Support students to overcome issues impeding educational success.
