Job summary

Connections for Kids is seeking a Day Treatment Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) to support students during the school day at Portland Public Schools. You will work one-on-one with a student who has a mental health diagnosis, in partnership with a licensed clinician and school staff to provide behavioral support and skill-building.

This 35-37 hour per week, school-year role offers part-time hours, competitive pay of $22–$24 per hour, and benefits such as tuition reimbursement and paid time

Qualifications

• At least 90 college credits (3 years).
• Have a valid driver's license with proof of auto insurance.
• Are a positive person with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to a student with a mental health diagnosis during the school day.
• Collaborate with a licensed clinician and school personnel to provide support and behavioral management skills.
• Help develop a path to success and reduce behavioral challenges within the classroom.
