Job summary

Calex-Sports-Inc is seeking an energetic After School Dance Teacher to lead engaging dance classes for elementary students across the Bay Area. The position offers a part-time schedule with weekday afternoon hours and locations in Fremont, Los Altos, Menlo Park, Milpitas, San Mateo, and San Carlos.

You’ll teach 5–10 year-olds using provided lesson plans, manage a classroom, and coordinate with parents and staff. Vaccination and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• 19+ years old with reliable Bay Area transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in dance (teaching or performing) preferred
• Enjoy working with kids and able to manage a classroom professionally
• Reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to complete a background check

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging, age-appropriate dance classes for students aged 5-10 with 5-10 students.
• Teach using provided lesson plans and help create a positive and engaging environment
• Transport and set up any needed dance materials
• Take attendance, sign students in/out, and communicate with parents or staff
• Capture session highlights with photos
• Attend up to two unpaid training/shadowing sessions to learn our program structure

$50-$65/hour

Weekdays between 1:00 PM-5:00 PM | 2-5 hours/week

We are especially seeking coaches who can teach more than one sport - including Tennis, Basketball, Pickleball, Volleyball, Soccer, Yoga, PE Teacher/Olympic Hopes and Floor Hockey!
