Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based role in East Valley, AZ. The position supports students under the supervision of an OT, delivering individualized therapy and maintaining progress documentation.

The ideal candidate holds an AZ COTA license (or eligible) and has experience with IEPs, treatment planning, and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Arizona or eligible to obtain.
• Experience in school or pediatric clinical settings with children facing learning or social-emotional challenges (preferred).
• Familiarity with IEPs, treatment planning, and behavior interventions.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and data documentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering individualized treatment programs for students based on IEPs or medical plans.
• Collaborate with the OT and interdisciplinary team to implement goals and accommodations.
• Support and follow guidance from the supervising OT for therapy sessions and interventions.
• Conduct data collection and assist with initial and ongoing assessments.
• Help complete annual and triennial reviews under OT supervision.
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation and provide progress updates to the OT and team.
