Job summary

Expatiate Communication, Inc. is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide school-based therapy to K-12 students with special needs.

The role offers on-site and virtual work in Pasadena/Los Angeles, CA, with compensation ranging from $25 to $50 per hour depending on experience. You will work under an Occupational Therapist supervision and participate in IEP meetings and staff trainings.

Qualifications

• State Board Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to complete satisfactory Live Scan background screening and TB clearance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic activities to help students with sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, and daily living activities.
• Provide training to school staff and parents on how to incorporate therapy goals into daily routines.
• Document student progress by maintaining detailed records of therapy sessions for IEP reports.
• Collaborate with other professionals by participating in IEP meetings to support students.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
