Job summary

SBCS in San Diego seeks a licensed clinician to provide school-based mental health services for Medi-Cal eligible students in grades 4–8. You’ll work under supervision within a collaborative team to deliver evidence-based therapies in classrooms and community settings.

Required: Master’s degree with BBS registration (LMFT/LCSW/LPCC/AMFT) and 1–2 years of child, youth, and family counseling; expect at least one evening per week and flexible scheduling to meet program needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field with BBS registration.
• Experience in individual, group, and family counseling with youth.
• Active BBS intern number or license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed therapeutic services to Medi-Cal eligible students and families.
• Conduct intakes, assessments, and develop strengths-based treatment plans.
• Coordinate care and maintain documentation in EHR systems.
• Meet productivity and scheduling requirements, including one evening per week.
