Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a School Clinician to work with elementary through high school students in an alternative school placement. You will provide individual and group counseling, along with clinical assessments, treatment planning, behavior interventions, caregiver collaboration, and skill building aligned with IEP and behavior goals.

You may act in crisis situations using CPI techniques to defuse incidents and protect students and staff.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Trauma, CBT, NCC, DBT credentials preferred but not required.
• Experience with high-risk youth preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to high-risk students.
• Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Implement behavior interventions and skill-building curricula.
• Collaborate with caregivers and families, and with school staff on IEP and behavior goals.
• Serve in crisis intervention capacity to defuse incidents; educate on triggers.
• Utilize CPI techniques to restrain students if necessary.
