Family Connections seeks a school-based clinician to deliver trauma-informed individual, group, and family therapy at The Hub and The Zone in Maplewood, NJ. The role focuses on culturally competent care within a 12‑month, 5‑day work week schedule and close collaboration with school staff and families.
Responsibilities include crisis intervention, community meetings, supervision attendance, and monthly parent support groups.

The school-based Clinician at the "The Hub," & "The Zone," is responsible for providing culturally competent, trauma-informed individual, group and family therapeutic services to students and families. The Clinician provides crisis intervention services, collaborates with other providers and school staff as needed. This Clinician is responsible for participating in relevant community meetings and/or groups, attend supervision consistently, weekly team meetings, monthly case conferences and quality improvement sub-committee meetings. The Clinician should have experience working within a school setting. The Clinician should be a culturally competent individual who will work in alignment with the Family Connection' mission. This is a 12 month position, Monday-Friday.
The individual must possess the ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of up to or in excess of 50 pounds.
