Chartwells K-12 is seeking an Hourly Dietitian in South Windsor, CT. The role involves providing Medical Nutrition Therapy in a clinical, hospital-like setting within the school system and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve student health outcomes.

The position requires RD credentials and state licensure where applicable, with healthcare experience preferred. The schedule is Tue-Thu 7am-3pm, and compensation is $28.00–$30.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for full-time

Qualifications

• Must have RD credential or be eligible to sit the exam.
• Licensed in the applicable state or able to obtain licensure.
• Healthcare experience preferred; new grads with clinical training encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Clinical nutrition care: perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop care plans.
• Education: provide nutrition guidance to patients, families, staff and community.
• Evidence-based practice: apply latest research per diet manual and policies.
• Quality & performance improvement: contribute to QAPI initiatives to advance care.
• Collaboration: work with food service team to meet patient satisfaction goals.
• Mentorship: support growth of staff and dietetic interns through education.
