Job summary

Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a School-Based Community Support Specialist to bring behavioral health services into Rolla-area schools. The role partners with educators, families, and students to promote resilience and resource access, directly inside school communities.

This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with some evenings required and a focus on early intervention and student wellbeing. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED is required.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in a human services field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a liaison between the school, families, and behavioral health services.
• Supporting students with individualized, goal-oriented behavioral health services.
• Providing education, coaching, and skill-building to students, families, and school staff.
• Collaborating with school teams and other professionals to advocate for student needs.
• Assisting families in navigating and accessing resources in the community.
• Completing wellness plans, documentation, and assessments in accordance with agency standards.
• Helping students and families build natural support systems and long-term resilience.
• Driving to school and community locations to provide services as needed.
