Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Behavior Technician to facilitate educational and behavioral services in a school setting for children and adults with special needs. This per diem role requires collaboration with teachers and other specialists to meet learning and behavioral goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs.
• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning goals and objectives.
• Support implementation of behavior plans and data collection.
