Job summary

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking a Behavioral Technician to support students in Ventura County schools. You’ll work as a paraeducator with responsibilities in behavioral and developmental support, collaborating with teachers to implement individualized strategies.

The role starts as on-call/substitute with potential to transition to full-time during the 2026-2027 school year, approximately 27-32 hours weekly during school hours, with pay from $18 to $25 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• High School/Trade School degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Support students in school settings with behavioral and instructional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to implement individualized strategies.
• Assist in managing classroom behavior and creating a safe learning environment.
• Serve as a Paraeducator/Behavior Technician in assigned classrooms.
