Job summary

Amergis, formerly known as Maxim Healthcare Staffing, seeks a Behavior Technician to support educational and behavioral services in school settings for individuals with special needs. You will work with educators and other specialists to help achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

This contract - part time position requires a high school diploma, pediatric experience preferred, CPR if applicable, and compliance with federal, state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and behavioral services for children and adults with special needs.
• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals.
