We are looking for a bright and motivated individual with a desire to work directly with a child on the Autism spectrum to provide services in a school setting in Cortland. All training and supervision in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is provided. ABA is an intensive behavioral therapy and a science-based approach designed to change the lives of individuals on the spectrum. As a registered behavior therapist your role is to encourage and support independence in communication, social skills, and daily living by implementing treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavioral Analysts.
This is a part-time position and hours will be based on a typical school day. Applicants must have reliable means of transportation and a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Physical activity is involved and you must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
