Job summary

LifeWorks Schools in Media, PA is seeking an energetic, collaborative Behavior Tech for the 2026-2027 Academic School Year. This full-time role offers great pay and benefits.

This position qualifies for a $6,000 joining bonus! Must complete onboarding package within 7 days of job offer. You will provide behavior management support and monitor progress within structured programs, working with staff and students to promote positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level degree in Education, Criminal Justice, or other related degree in Human Services field of study preferred.
• Experience with Special Education is preferred.
• Prior experience working with adolescents with behavioral health challenges within a school setting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior management support to all staff by working with students on both an individual and group basis as needed.
• Monitor student behavioral achievement through observation and other quantitative methods.
• Manage student behavior through level system, S.M.A.R.T. Program and School wide Discipline Plan.
• Monitor student’s behavior improvement plan (if applicable) or Positive Behavior Support Plan (if applicable) and address goals and objectives.
• Completes tasks assigned by staff pertaining to school environment, behavioral interventions, and other operational functions in the school.
