Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher with relevant experience in youth services.
• Bachelor's degree candidates should have 2+ years in traditional or non-traditional settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of treatment plans and behavioral rules and consequences.
• Monitors, analyzes, and collaborates with teachers, therapists and staff to support student progress.
• Monitors student behavior in classroom settings based on information gathered.
• Participates in program development, case management and supervision.
• Assists in setting limits with compassion.
• Directs students to use positive behaviors for classroom success.
• Uses interventions to help students practice coping skills and transition back to home school.
• Designs and conducts group activities; records progress notes for groups; supervises lunch/recess when assigned.
• Assists teachers in classroom management; shares information with clinicians; meets with administrators on goals.
• Supports building social interactions within school and local community.

Education

Associates Degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
