Job summary

Union County Public Schools is seeking a Behavior Modification Technician (BMT) for Monroe Middle in Monroe, North Carolina. You will work under direct supervision to support positive student behavior and assist instructional staff in implementing behavioral objectives and plans, including BSP/BIP, to help students succeed.

The position is full-time and located on site at Monroe Middle, with the UCPS HR team handling recruitment.

Qualifications

• Under direct supervision, a Behavior Technician helps establish positive student contacts that develop appropriate behavior modifications.
• Assist instructional personnel by participating as a team member in the development and monitoring of behavioral objectives, goals, and plans, including BSP/BIP.
• Collaborate with staff to implement and monitor behavior support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support development and monitoring of BSP/BIP.
• Assist in delivering behavior modification plans in the classroom.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote positive student behavior.
