Job summary

BenchMark Physical Therapy in Jacksonville, NC seeks a Licensed Athletic Trainer to provide athletic training services in local schools and community events, collaborating with the sports medicine team and physicians to support athletes and coaches.

Applicants must hold an athletic training license, BOC certification and CPR, with strong communication, organization, and a flexible schedule; willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays is required. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Current athletic training license or eligible in state of position.
• Current certification by and in good standing with the Board of Certification.
• CPR Certification.
• Strong decision and problem solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent organizational and listening skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services to local schools, community events and/or organized sports in accordance with state laws and established contracts.
• Maintain daily treatment records and documentation on patients.
• Collaborate with Sports Medicine team and supervising physicians.
• Provide sports medicine consultations to coaches, athletes, parents and others.
• Conduct athletic training/sports medicine workshops as requested.
