Job summary

Middle Flint Health & Wellness is seeking an APEX Counselor (FT) to deliver direct behavioral health services in Taylor, Schley, Webster, and Dooly Counties, GA. You will provide individual, group, and family counseling within school settings under the APEX program, with data reporting and collaboration with school staff.

The role requires a Master’s in counseling, at least 1 year working with youth and families, and a valid Georgia driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must obtain LPC/LCSW/LMFT license or certification within 2–2.5 years.
• Travel from site to site and/or home visits required.
• Valid unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy and counseling to students and families.
• Administer individual, group, and family counseling.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete electronic documentation.
• Travel between sites for service delivery and home visits.
• Attend IEP, RTI, 504 team meetings.
• Refer students and families to appropriate resources or outside agencies as needed.
