Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a School Audiologist for a Kansas City, KS school district. The role supports PreK–5 students with hearing-related needs through screenings, assessments, and accommodations.

The position offers full-time or part-time on-site work, with guaranteed hours and collaboration with district and TheraPeds teams. Applicants should hold a Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.), current KDADS license, and ideally CCC-A.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited program.
• Current, valid Kansas Audiologist License (KDADS).
• CCC-A certification preferred for clinical credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hearing screenings and audiological assessments for students.
• Monitor and interpret results to guide educational supports.
• Recommend hearing assistive technology and classroom accommodations.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute audiology goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service notes.
• Provide guidance on hearing health and technology to staff and families.
