Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time, on-site School Audiologist for a school in Kansas City, KS. The role focuses on hearing health, screenings, assessments, and supporting students’ access to education with appropriate accommodations.

The ideal candidate holds Au.D. or equivalent, a current Kansas license, and preference for CCC-A. Collaboration with district teams and ongoing documentation are key aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution.
• Kansas Audiologist License in good standing with KDADS.
• CCC-A through ASHA preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred.
• Experience with hearing assessments, assistive technology, and educational accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hearing screenings and audiological assessments for students.
• Interpret assessment results to determine educational supports.
• Recommend and monitor use of hearing assistive tech and classroom accommodations.
• Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, families, and specialists for student access to instruction.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute audiological information and goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and service notes.
