Job summary

• Current certification as an athletic trainer (NATABOC).
• CCP/CPR/AED certifications required for professional rescuer care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procedures for school's athletic health care program and training facility.
• Conduct pre-participation evaluations to screen injury/illness risks.
• Collaborate with coaches on training and conditioning programs for student athletes.
• Advise on protective equipment selection and fitting.
• Monitor activities for safety hazards and recommend action as needed.
• Provide first aid and emergency cardiac care, including CPR.
• Develop rehabilitation programs following injuries and supervise usage of modalities.
